Don't sweat it man. The guys just an asshole. Along with his 3-5 buddies. Who are all immature assholes!

Do like the rest of us and ignore them.
[/quote]are you referencing me kingcohiba? I know more about fake forbidden x than I care to have ever learned. I just spent several days with the Fuente family and all of their people at the IPCPR in New Orleans. I'm well versed in spotting fakes of this nature. Mainly BBMF, LBMF, Chilli peppers, and #4. It all came at a huge expense, and is nothing to be scoffed at.

Thanks man. IPAs just surprised to see this thread. I had no clue this dude linked my sale and claimed that he knew where this stick came from etc. I've never bought any opus on this forum nor have I sold any I don't think. It was unnerving but after seeing the many instances where he's just being a troll icalmed down. Cohim sent me a message earlier but like I said, he was totally respectful and just wanted too now more about them and now I can see why. He seems like a nice guy and I'll be sending him some up close pics tonight after I close the lounge.

All good. I'll ignore the douche who started all this as I do not know him and he certainly has no idea who I am nor where I get my cigars. But folks who buy from me on a daily basis know me and trust me. That's good enough for me!

Cheers guys.  Smoke on!

So when you're handed <insert random rare Fuente or any cigar for that matter> from the manufacturer and it's not in retail cello it's fake? I've been in the industry for quite a while my friend and I've been handed MANY cigars in plain cello, unbanded, prototype bands etc... I've yet to have one fake given to me by manufacturers in many many years. Not to say it doesn't happen but it sure as hell doesn't happen often.

This is very true.  It's just I usually smoke the special sticks gifted to me and don't try to sell them, but that is just me.

Taps knows everything there is to know. That's how he knows when something is fake or priced too high because he'll be sure to bring it up here.

That said, I'll never understand people laying their cigars on carpet for pictures.

Tapps also has access to allot of things that regular Joes like me can't touch. His job is scouring the Internet for stuff. Not just cigars and booze. But he has done his homework, and also knows what things should cost, and what fakes look like. Tapps does, however get under certain people's skin. Especially when he is right.  8) Tapps is always willing to help out when a need arises, and has helped me out on numerous occasions, not just with cigars and shit like that, he has helped me out with allot of work related stuff.

So with that said we know that Tapps can be over the top at times, and he has been right on every point he has tried to make.

I have never seen a BBMF go out with that type of cello and almost always with the gold lettering.  I appreciate that you are in the industry but did you get that cigar from Fuente or grey market?

This is the part of the program where someone has to eat a bit of crow. That would be me. Richterscale sent me some better photos of his Forbidden X. I believe them to be authentic in every way. I even took the extra step to send the photos to the Fuente team. They also concurred.

I apologize to my friend richterscale for bringing negative statements to his sale. I back his sale with my own cigars if he is proven otherwise on this sale. Satisfaction guaranteed.
