I think the better question is this:

Would anyone bother to fake a 100-120 buck box of shorties like these ??

Ding ding ding, we have a winner!  Armen is right.  Both are indeed authentic.

And both actually from the same master case, both AME AGO 13 factory codes.  And both were darn good.

Good thing you didn't sell the box without the sticker here. The pyre would have been lit!

Yes, anything that arrives that is ugly or falls into the "Cuba being Cuba" category, I just smoke it myself.

This is a good point.

I remember when there used to be middle market fakes that were getting the backdoored bands, seals, and other printed material from that Canadian printer.  Likely the same way the guy with that justfakes.com website was getting the stuff.

But when Habanos changed printers (and introduced the new hologram warranty seal), a lot of those internet fake vendors disappeared.

Just curious are there any obvious fake peddlers that sell boxes with the new hologram warranty seals?  The obvious fakers like that royalhabanos (and their other websites run by same outfit from Panama) say on their website they don't send bands and boxes.

What I find amazing is that someone would create a fake box of El Principe.

Saw a box of fake 2005 Party Coronas before. Who would think to fake those?

Anything that can be sold for profit could be faked.

Honestly, if I was someone creating fakes, I would do just this. Simply because 99% of buyers out there would not question it vs. a box of Cohiba Esplendidos or better yet GR that would get heavily scrutinized.

Now, do I believe someone out there is actually doing this, probably not.

Made a rookie mistake when first buying habanos. Ordered Siglo VI that were good looking but tasted awful. The 2nd box from the same order got seized. Go figure that you get a letter for fakes.

Those jackasses call every few months trying to get me to order something. I've blocked the number on my Note now, but I sure as hell laid into them the last time.
