Again, as I told your previously. I live in NORTH DAKOTA. Rare is the opportunity that I smoke during this time of year and the cigars I purchase typically get put away in the cabinet or coolers and left alone until spring. Also, like I previously acknowledged due to your reputation on this forum, upon receipt of the cigars I did not inspect every single stick as I didn't feel I needed to. I recently bombed some sticks out to fellow BOTL on other groups and forums I am a member of. It was then brought to my attention that there might be some questions as to their authenticity.

I then inspected the rest of the cab and while not all lack a triple cap the bands are all pretty consistent in their 'oddity's'. Thus here we are.

I will also point out that I contacted other members here that have been here much longer than myself seeking advice on how to address this issue and best way to bring it to the attention of the membership here. One being Wade BTW.

It was my intention to try and be discreet which is why I contacted you privately versus blindsiding you with a sudden thread in the BZ. I'm not sure why you are being so belligerent. Perhaps because I am a newb here and not as experienced as some others may be in discerning counterfeits you feel like my concerns can be dismissed as some random guy trying to pull a scam.

Again be sure to show that any of what you state is what should be taken as correct over the statement that I don't have a problem with fake cigars for the reasons ive stated. there is a Czar in charge of the empire in UBBS question, which is out in left field.

Here is the first cigar in question.  The recipient sent me these pics, not the best in the world, but after myself and several other BOTL, including guys from this forum, looked at it.  I don't see a triple...

You can also see the lettering issues, gold emboss issues, no clear corners, etc...  But it is much more apparent with the cigars UBB sent me when sitting right next to a real Cohiba.

After I saw those, I contacted UBB to let him know a cigar he passed was questionable, and he needed to take it up with the recipient.  He offered to send me a couple of them to compare side by side.  I sent him this pic last night, as it was pretty obvious the difference in the emboss and corners specifically.  You can see the cigar on the right from Ravi, has clear cut corners, straight lines, and the COHIBA lettering is very clean.  The one on the left from Steve, not so much.

Sure, I fully acknowledge that the possibility exists that of all the people I've done business with in my short stay here, I decided to single you out simply for shits and giggles. Completely disregarding some of the other traders I've dealt with who have significantly less history here than you.

On the back side, you can see the gold band is wider, and running as well.  If you hold it in your hand, it is very obvious.

I could care less that you are a newb. I know where the cigars came from. The source is beyond reproach. I 'm  being belligerent because I stand behind my source, my knowledge and experience with Cuban cigars, my reputation? Sorry bud doesn't fly. nothing against you but if you think the cigars are fake how do I know the cigars you have a problem with are mine? I comfortable with my scruples I have never fucked anyone and never would...you're barking up the wrong tree.
