If this eBay posting was, in fact, not you, and the whole situation was nothing more than a large coincidence, then I apologize. I did not want people to continue thinking that either myself or an acquaintance of mine was auctioning off a collection of my own cigars. It is always rather suspicious when someone posts someone else's picture and puts those items up for auction. In any case, like I said to you privately, I would like to resolve this issue as civilized as possible and because the eBay listing has been removed, either by eBay or by the original poster and that I have clarified that the listing was not my own, I consider this issue resolved. Of course, you are all welcome to disagree, I just do not have much more to add to this discussion myself.

I don't call people out. It's childish and in appropriate if nothing was done maliciously. A photo was used, who did he harm? Why is this suck a big deal? Is Max the only person on the planet who has a black piece of paper and all the monsters? Doubt it! He needed to put up the listing and wasn't home so found a photo online to use, don't see any water mark or copyright on the photo so what did he do wrong?

This is STILL the dumbest thing I have read on any cigar forum except for the SnS "is it monday yet" bullshit.  First of all if you post a picture to the internet unless you have some type if copyright anyone can take it and you can't do shit.  So someone is trying to sell the tatuaje monsters collect online,  ran across Max's pic and said "damn,  thats a door pic,  I think its better than anything I can come up with I will use it". WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THAT?? ? It would be different if someone took a picture of his kid wearing a t shirt he was trying to sell,  thats your kid but its FUCKING TOBACCO!! ! So whoever used the pic didnt make a account on ebay and use Max's name did they?  Or make a email address with max in it did they?  Did the post mention Max at all?  I am asking because I didn't see it.  If the answers are all No then this shit us stupid. Get a life people.  Get a job or find a bitch to fuck and stop crying over someone used my pic that I willingly put on the internet.  Wow.

To expand a bit further and bring some clarification as to why this was an issue for me.
A good portion of the cigars in the collection that was pictured were rare/HTF cigars that were gifted to me by members of another forum where I posted the picture. So when, just a short time later, that same picture shows up in an auction on eBay, it brought up quite the confusion and the backlash. Let's say, purely for the sake of an example, a group of friends pitched in to buy you a nice car. Once the car arrives, you take a picture of it and share it with the group that these said friends are a part of. Now, let's say that a very short time later, the same exact car and picture go up to the highest bidder on eBay, you'd look like quite the asshole to those who purchased it for you as well as to those who were aware that it was a gift. Obviously cigars aren't a nice car, but the concept is the same. After the listing went up, I had a lot of people questioning my reputation and values and I was having to spend a lot of time explaining that the cigars in the picture were mine but it wasn't my listing. Look, I have no problem if people share my photos, but I do have a problem with people profiting from using my photos. Anyways, I understand where many would disagree with me, and that is understandable, I'm just happy the posting has been removed and I've spent the time to make it clear to everyone on that group that the listing was not mine.
