Agree regarding a reasonable alert for someone that hasn't posted anything for 3 years to have a highly desirable collectible well below current market price....not nawgb

No, it's a reasonable alert to the people who read the board.

Alert on what? The OP didn't even realized that the 2 sellers were on 2 differents continents.
A minimal checking before accusing would have been "reasonable".

What sort of "minimal checking" do you recommend?  The only facts that this forum was presented was that (1) two newb members both signed up within days of each other 3 years ago, (2) neither had any trader feedback (3) both were making their first posts ever (4) both posts were selling HTF cc's, and (5) one of those sellers was pricing those cc's way below original list price.  And now, coincidentally, you have come to their defense with 2 posts, and you've only made one other post in over 3 years on the forum.  And how on earth would we know that nagwb has "completed numerous sales covering several countries in Europe"? ???

Throwing up a warning was prudent and appreciated by many of us.  It also served as a tool to get a couple of established members to vouch for nagwb so that others can have confidence to buy from him.

Very coincidental about the join time and post time of htf c.f.....can deffo see that causing alarm. But I view very often, but never buy as I have easier access to cc than the majority of the mainly us centric users. I also use it to keep an eye on Johnny o sales. I have to buy through us buddies, so that's why you never see me trading.
How do you get trader feedback without selling if I never buy?

But as you say, I've got three people saying I'm sound, so cheers! Numerous sales is a huge understatement, I'd hate to count the the amount of other people's money that has passed through my pp in splits etc, never once with an issue

Exactly.  The OP didn't flame either of the 2 guys, he simply pointed it out and reminded people to be cautious and do their due diligence.  He did say to avoid these guys which wasn't called for, but it was totally acceptable to make the post IMO.

I've been around awhile and I don't know nagwb.  Now people have vouched for him and there is no concern or doubt on my part about him.  That is how things should be done IMO when there are questionable sales from people with no posts and feedback here.

There have been too many scams here to get upset with people being overly cautious.

Yes I should have left out that last sentence, or at least the part about avoiding them. I wanted people to use caution and be aware of the situation moreso than badmouthing them personally.

The most civil BZ thread in history. Not even a need to hug it out.  :nana:
