My experience has been, 3 pounds or less and USPS is cheapest. Above 3 or 4 pounds and it's usually a toss up between ups and fed ex depending on distance

Never really considered price. I was told as a noob that USPS is how it's done. Priority mail, haven't had any problems in a couple years now. Honestly, USPS is easier for me anyway.

My mail lady is better looking than the ups guy?  Can't beat usps for service imo.  I shipped numerous items heavy and light, valued 5 to 5000 dollars world wide for years using priority international with -0- complaints.  Customs with ups and fedex pita.
Online shopping for free boxes delivered to my door and discount shipping labels done on my computer much easier than any other company.  I put a note in mailbox and my PO person picks up at our pre disclosed package location.
The only way it could get any easier is if I had her boxing and doing labels for me also.

I use USPS due to ease of printing of label at home and at the door pickup. Only shipped via UPS once and it was a pain.

Add me to the list of those who can't stand UPS.  I go with USPS everytime.  I have never once had an issue.

tbh I am a bigger FedEx fan than UPS or USPS, I have everything rerouted to a local Kinkos for free, it tends to ship quickly, and the tracking is good. USPS - today I got a shipment despite the fact the PO swore my tracking number was not in the system and they have no such package. After comparing my number to the box, it was a perfect match. Their online system also did not register it. In a world of barcode scanners, not actually sure how that can happen but its not the first.

Anyways, since everyone here is so obsessed with the USPS, I will prob attempt to consolidate my orders into a 1-2 month time frame and rent a PO Box for those 2 months so I can receive it. I see things here for sale I wish to buy but dislike the USPS delivery to my house.

Only biz I have ever seen where the USPS is popular.
