I personally have had good luck with apple customer service, like anything else you treat them with respect like any human being and more often than not they go out of their way to help you. Lately I'm not so sure, ever since jobs died apple quality has been decreasing, but on many occasions I've broken laptops or phones then gone in, joked about how stupid it was for me to have done that and asked if there is anyway I can pay to get it fixed. Almost every time they have either done the repair for free or grabbed a new one and swapped it out, the worse i've had was paying for the parts. Havn't been since the changes, girlfriend dropped the ipad i bought her and broke the screen, going to the apple store soon, we'll see what they say. I think that people blindly supporting apple is stupid but I also appreciate the fact that I have the option to go in and see what they will say. If she broke the screen on a samsung tablet or whatever it wouldn't even occur to me to ask them. I would either get it fixed after market or if that wasn't an option I would buy her a new one.
