Yeah the one's I've had have been very good once the humidity leveled out. I'd like to have some to age for a year or longer just can't hold on to them for that long.

You're one lucky dude. I bought a sampler and they were completely unsmokable. They would not draw to save their life even after dry boxing for 4 days (ROTT and every week after).  They smelled and tasted fantastic though. Congrats dude.

Same here.  80% of mine were so tight that they weren't smokeable.  I even returned one and the second sampler was the same way.

I had the same problem with a sampler from last year. John's customer service is top notch though as he replaced the bad ones with some very good ones.

Have always been happy with the rolls I've received from John. Dryboxing is definitely the way to go. Never encountered draw problems with any of the vitolas I've had. Fresh they are good, but after a year or so they're really good.
John is great to deal with too!

I want to try a sampler, and I sent 2 PM to Johnny-O but didn't get any reply for couple of days.  Am I doing something wrong? :tears:

80% of the WF ones I got from him were unsmokeable.  Dry boxed, aged over a year, etc...  The factory ones were great, specifically the dark wrappers, but it would be hard for me to buy again given my experience.

I picked up a 1/2 bundle of the Baby Salomones.  They arrived with a very nice oily and dark wrapper.  Let them rest for 2 weeks and lit one up tonight.  Great draw, burn, and construction, along with awesome flavor.  I will be looking to trying others in the future as the one I had tonight was excellent!
