I stand by the free market philosphy, yet I'm a little confused. By my math, and according to prices Pete and others have posted, shouldn't the "value" of 1 bottle of Pappy and 1 bottle of rye be roughly $200?

Don't really have a dog in this hunt as I don't drink and as stated above. But why would Pete come out in his FS thread and act offended, as if $400 was in line with retail? Or am I completely whacked out? Again, the market decides the price and not trying to bust Pete's ball here.
