A member here asked me for pics on a $70 (shipped) box of cheap CCs and said he wouldn't proceed with the deal until he saw the actual pics of the box. I sent him the pics he wanted and asked him if he checked my feedback and told him I had better things to do than rip people off of $70... must have offended him or pissed him off, he backed out of the deal. Thanks for wasting my time, and what a loser.

I reply to a F/S ad after sticks have been sitting for 2 weeks on TSBC for Habanos most notorious bad brand from the bad years. I said I would bite and pics would be appreciated but not necessary.
I just wanted to see what shape the sticks were. A quick cell phone pic would have sufficed.
Todd you reply " I can get you a pic tonight if you want to see the boxcode and remaining 4 cardboard packs."
Two days later I send a polite email as a reminder. (almost word for word from my email)
"Hi Todd, I am sure your extremely busy and havent heard from you, whenever you get a chance I would appreciate a pic
Heres Todd"s rude ass reply
"I have to admit, I am a little taken back by this deal and your last message, and never before have the legitimacy of my deals or cigars been questioned. If you look at my feedback, its fairly extensive and I probably have over 50 posted feedbacks, and those are just from people who bothered to leave feedback at all. This is a lot of effort for a $70 box of cigars, and I have a lot better things to do than screw anyone out of $70 bucks."
Anyways, attached are the pics you requested.
Why would I want to engage in a transfer of goods and money with a stranger who cant follow through with what he says he doesnt mind doing and then sends rude accusatory responses. No one questioned you legitimacy. Calm that EGO big fella.I said pics werent even neccesary in my intial reply, you obliged. Its called intergrity and then lie in the BZ about me demanding pics. Stay Classy

Pics were not necessary ?
From you (word for word c/p from your PM):
"...seeing if I could check a pic out and get this deal done for you. Thanks, Dean"
That surely implies to me no pics, no deal, and I don't know how to see it any other way. My cell phone takes lousy close-up pictures like most cell phones do, and if anyone asks for a picture they usually want to verify boxcodes etc. So, I took the time to take a few decent pics. I would NEVER sell cigars that were in poor shape, and thats why I asked you if you checked my trader comments. Why would I ruin my reputation here over a $70 box of cigars.
Rude reply or not, I was taken back by your request and to me, it just seemed a little ridiculous to request pics for some of the cheapest Habanos on the market, that I had listed for $70 shipped. In the end, I also never heard back from you after the pics were sent... so, we were both in the wrong here as far as integrity and communications go.
There is no ego here, just alot of effort and time wasted (3+ days of going back and forth) all in a feeble attempt to complete a deal where I will end up losing money after shipping costs. My time is valuable, and I don't like wasting it. Sorry for venting my frustration.
Tell you what, Dean... I will send you a sleeve (3 pack) of these smokes for free...and you can smoke them and decide if you want the remainder of the box. Sorry for the email blowup, that's not my usual form. PM me your info.

This happen to me on last box of Monte GR's I was selling. Buyer sent me PM, said they want them, would buy from me and they asked for pictures to confirm I actually have them and they sealed. Took the time to take pictures and email exactly what they asked to see in pictures. Go three days with no reply back. Finally he reply and say it a big purchase and a lot of money to buy in one box. I ask him if he want any other pictures. Finally replies again and say they gonna hold off and then contact me if they decide to buy. What a waste of time and why they back up for sale now.
Oh and not to mention he ask to see cigars as well. I say how am I supposed to take pictures when box is sealed and is being sold as being sealed? What an idiot.
