Looks like he lowered his price for a weekend bump. If people are stupid enough to pay such inflated fee's then thats their problem. Obviously anyone with half a brain or 90 seconds of internet research can figure out that price is stupid high.
Enjoy your weekend! Im off to smoke and enjoy this nice weather! :bigup:

not the $356 ones

exact same box code as the $356 ones and just enough time to receive them from the vendor to flip...

Surprised nobody is saying anything about the OR mag 50s.....I know where there's some early 08's for close to half that. I personally could care less if he had them for sale for a million dollars, just think its strange how only certain members will have a thread made about their sale. I'd say the sir winnie is the better buy here!

As soon as I saw the forsale post, I immediately came into the BZ to see if anyone pointed it out. I hope it dies a slow death....

I was trying to figure out the price of these cigars... I could not find your $356 anywhere... more like $444 etc. but in my research I found a yet another fellow with these cigars, same year, same box code:
[url=http://en.allexperts.com/q/Cigars-2143/2012/3/h-upmann-sir-winston.htm]http://en.allexperts.com/q/Cigars-2143/2012/3/h-upmann-sir-winston.htm[/url]
What are the chance the the same year and box code should keep turning up?

Yes, almost two weeks ago, there was 3 boxes of 2003 sir winstons at a very well known site that almost all of us use. they are removed from the site once they are sold. They were 356 dollars and this was DEFINITELY one of the box codes, without a doubt. i am almost 100% sure they came from that site. just enough time to buy them, receive them, and flip them here. I saw the guys post and i knew immediately he was just trying to flip them. I was going to buy a box when they came on the vendor site but i am glad i didnt. The site is a very well know grey market vendor that is normally very trustworthy. however from time to time some suspicious cigars pop up there, probably unbeknownst to the vendor.
Also, the box code stamp is very sloppy which is odd. i have a phenomenal box from 2002 (never sold on that site) which i got from a very good friend here, one of the most respected sellers. and the box code on my box is crisp and well placed. Also, when i saw these on the site for 356.. i knew there was something weird because 356 for a 9 year old cab of aged sir winstons is too cheap IMO. you get what you pay for. and also the cardboard outer box looks a little too fresh and new to be 9 years old. Should have a little more oxidization.
and a 250$ profit on a box from a new seller with no feedback is not a good sign. you can sell it for whatever u want, but alot of people saw these on the other site two weeks ago. also lisa's research is interesting. it is very odd that the same box code popped up and the guy was suspicous about them. just my two cents.

I have seen many misaligned, poorly stamped boxcodes on totally legit cigars from legit vendors... so the stamp is not too surprising to me. The box stamps have gotten better with more recent production boxes from what I have seen, and I have not personally seen a blue inked stamp boxcode since 06.
These cigars look legit to me based on the pics... but the $200+ quick flip is more of an issue in my eyes.

agreed. They could be totally legit. Just thought the 356 was suspiciously cheap for aged winnies.
