I like the LH 5X50s... but buying a box of them was too much. I enjoy the original release S&B sticks, the Exclusivo Jar robustos and Chiquitos, and even a limited release figurado called the La Paquena...but their standard production stuff is overpriced for the mediocre sticks that they are. However, I am most tired of chasing expensive limited edition sticks that are just mediocre in taste/quality.

Most of the recent S&B have been disappointing (to me), the Atlantic 15th Lanceros suck, and the WLP are nothing more than a step above most dog rockets (my opinion of course)...

Its obvious that this latest move by Andre @ Viaje is because he knows his recent releases are shitty and he can't get the tobacco to make consistently good smokes that warrant a price tage of $10+. I think he used to crank out really good stuff in late 2009 and 2010, but lately its just not that good...even their regular production stuff was much better a year ago.

I will PASS on the Viaje Kool-Aid from now on ...

Other than the Exclusivos and S&B which seem consistently good, most of the Viaje LEs are very overpriced for what you get, imvho.  Sure, there are some great ones, but overall I think your average Casa Fernandez or Illusione will give you better performance and save you 30-40%.

Now he's ending the only 2 regular production lines he had?  Wow.  I just don't get it.

And for those comparing Viaje to Tatuaje ... I don't get the comparison AT ALL.  Viaje is 100% small batch stuff, lots of releases a year, nearly always $10/stick.  Tatuaje is mostly regular production ... I think there were more new regular-production Tats released this year than limited Tats ... and most was under $10/stick (some well under).

Tried to smoke a S7B Black Label Torp from a few months ago today. Smoked about 3/4" and pitched it. Gross.

That was supposed to say S&B Black Label. About $12 a piece here. Viaje can keep them.
