Reply to OP. Forget the letter and spend no more energy on it and instead endeavor to find a real hockey club to support. :lookatme:

Just got a letter in the mail today. This is my second time, first was fall of last year.
My question to the board: would you ask to re-ship, or refund?
I'm somewhat hesitant, as this is my second seizure. And now I'm a little nervous. I never place big, multi-box orders, so I guess that makes me something of an insignificant target in their eyes, but now I've been hit twice in less than a year. *sigh* What to do, what to do???

I've always asked for a reshipment and it always got there.
However I have since switched vendors and no longer worry about it.
I'd find a new vendor.

I'd ask for a re-shipment. It's not like the feds are going to throw you in prison for buying a box of cigars. Worst case scenario, IMHO, is you get slapped with a fine, which is apparently a rare occurence. Think about it; the feds catch just a fraction of the pot, meth & heroin smuggled into the country; how could they possibly be any better at catching Cuban cigars? The 2 best articles I've read on the subject are:

I suppose I should have said "the best 3 articles", but this one is actually a study released by the Government Accountability Office in 2007. It contains a whole bunch of interesting stuff (including talleys of the annual UN votes calling for an end to the Cuban embargo, totals of OFAC civil penalties, and responses to the report from Homeland Security and the Treasury, State and Commerce departments).
