Who is this Pete? What did he verify? Who the hell is going to beleive a man who says he is giving a motorcycle away then he does not. Thats a real trustworthy soul.

With arguments like that no one will convience you. Pete was facing a lawsuit for the motorcycle buy a person who enters sweepstakes for a living. His complaint was that he had to buy something to enter. Lawyers instructed Pete to cancel the giveaway. But you have to believe Pete to accept that. Have you ever met the man, spent time with him, cause if you had you may feel differently...or maybe you have andq still choose to be skeptical which is your right and I nor anyone should judge you for it.

All I am saying is I and many others have met Pete and Dan and spent a lot of time with them and other BOTLs and I choose to believe one way. Bottom line is I nor anyone has hard proof either way, but the more rational explanation is how I and others have stated it.....

If this was the issue of giving names to the tax authority, the accusation was that he did so without being asked, in reality he was as by the state of, I think, NJ to turn over the records.[/quote]

Tax authority? I thought the issue was that he complained to some cigar manufacturers that certain other vendors were selling cigars via CP at prices that were supposedly lower than contractually allowed.

You think that Pete is a God. I think he is like TripleLiquero. We each have an opionion. But they both promised something and neither one followed thru. Johnson and TL are both men whom have no HONOR. Both are scum to me. At least TL paid people back what they spent.

Not a member of CP so I was going of another accusation made on botl from a former CP member. Appears there is more to this saga.......

There sure does to seem more. I will admit that I am not privy to that info , so if someone can share I would appreciate it. I have bought from NHC before. If this guy is shaky I do not want to give him my business.

He ratted out vendors that people liked and trusted.
Caused a lot of grief when there didn't need to be any.

The squeak wheel gets the grease...and he whined enough that Pete gave in.

It was not done in a professional manner at all.

As Pete's raffle issue...there's a reason they put the phrase 'NO PURCHASE NESSECARY' on these things....it's bacause someone whined about having to buy something to get a chance at getting a giveaway. If he had a first year lawyer set it up there wouldn't have been an issue.

Fuckin' victims without a crime!

I remember seeing the emails about the ratted out vendor in question, and even though I think Pete is a nice guy, he didn't handle the NHC issue on CP very well. Sometimes his PR skills are not the best.
