If you want to see the lowballers, try responding to a couple ISO's.  People think they're going to post an ISO for Franks or other HTF for $10 a stick and start a bidding war.

Nonetheless, there's a respectful way to make an offer (buyers and sellers) and you always have the option to pass as well.

I did that and was perfectly willing to pay secondary prices $20/25 and most people wanted me to make and offer. If they have something to sell I can't buy when I don't know the price. I got the box and a few so I'm gonna build that box it may take another year or two LOL  If I did something wrong in my iso sorry!

I will say one thing I hate, you post an ISO. Someone says I have that, make me an offer. So fucking annoying just give me the best price you can and I'll respond yes or no.

I don't want to do a back and forth PM for 20 minutes.

Also I hate when people expect you to charge the lowest vendor price + shipping for CC's. Not all of us use that vendor and if that was the case even still why should we take all the risk for zero profit both ways? You risk it getting snag on the way to you and also you ship it to them and are responsible for damages.

This is annoying. People need to grow a pair of balls or pay a premium for having no balls, IMHO $1 per cigar is fair for fresh boxes. Obviously aged stock should and will cost more. Even still it's a steal, paying $25 for someone else to take all the risk and responsibility is nothing.

I think lowball offers are a function of the original asking price and its' "reality".  Again, this is Wade's house and you all can sell anything you want for whatever you want.  But as an example, a Tat Black Jar (including the jar) when released was around the $250 range.  Your post was for $300 for 16/19 sticks, not including the jar itself.  I think that kind of premium invites low ball offers.

I agree with previous posters, you never know unless you ask.  It can't be harmful to ask if you do it in a friendly gracious manner :)

$20/ stick has been the going rate on these for some time, and I've seen them go for closer to $25.  I think all such things can invite low-ball offers, true, but I'd certainly not say he was gouging or anything based on the price these have sold at for well over a year.  I actually think $300 was a very fair price, and know guys who'd have gladly paid that.
