BHK - How many can one sell???

I have a few from the 1st box code, i smoked one a year ago, it was
good, so i buried the others. Now i havnt smoked any other box codes
yet. Should i save my dough, they arent the same, bait and switch, sounds like HSA
is pulling a TL scam.

Usually the OR is better than subsequent releases, but to be markedly different would be a shonda, ashame, a travesty.

From what I've seen so far they're far from limited, you want to talk limited even RAC's were a treasured find when they were in production.  And they stated they will be made going forward, albeit on this "limited" basis. 

In other words we're gonna keep making them if people want to pay a laughable 35-40 a stick.

So obviously you have an instant fake market for anyone who's a scammer, so you better know your source on these too.  If you still "have to have them" I wouldn't recommend buying them anywhere but at legit known vendor, or someone I've known a long long time and know they use legit sources.

Good point, but my question is, are the recent legit BHK`s different enough from the OR BHK`s to not want to buy them even at Havana prices.

Yes. Can somebody address this beyond the cryptic or ironic?  Some OR releases are better than others. I find that this is often a cigar community myth that appeals to a presumed logic, if not empirical evidence. 

A link to another forum would be fine. Tasting notes. Etc.

I can't speak to tasting notes on past and current releases personally...but i've asked this question (or similar one) on a couple forums now regarding the medio tiempo leaf, and haven't gotten any concrete answers to prove there's a good reason for folks to be asking "whats the box code" on BHK other than to help substantiate the source.

I was always curious why people were saying "thats a good box" with regard to early 2010 codes when these Behikes came up FS....but in retrospect, that could have started as nothing more than the dancing banana syndrome, and a "friend" helping a "friend" sell their box of cigars. And then it just took off from there.....

That's speculation on my part, but I'd conclude the only way we'll know for certain is for someone who's been in the factory recently to chime in....or who's got a connection with someone who personally rolls Behikes. Even finding out if they're also being rolled in other factories besides El Laguito would be interesting to hear.

As far as tasting goes....the best I can offer is this....and it's a review done for an OCT TEU 2010 box.

Not sure if you're asking cuz that's against forum rules to post or not. If so, my apologies. I tried to modify just in case and post the youtube version, but that window has passed for me to do so. Mods please adjust accordingly.

However, if you're asking cuz of the vendor bias....yup, I get that angle as well. Give a good review, sell more product.
