I got the package back? I sent you a message that last week monday explaining the situation. Did you not get it? I went to the PO and they told me it was marked an insufficient address. I'm pretty sure it still says it on the DC#, was told it was sent to dead mail. So, sadly I will never see those cigars again. I've talked to 3-4 people that I could get a good opinion on, they all said the same thing. If you send out a box and have proof of it being sent that it's out of my hands at this point. I don't see why I would have to take a $320 loss when it's not at all my fault, I did my part. I'm not responsible to pay for insurance. I tried, I dunno' what else to tell you, Paul. I thought you got this message on OH already? This is the first and only lost transaction I've had with cigars, I've done 50-60 at least between different sites. I'm truly sorry, Paul. I dunno' what else to say about this

Here's the tracking number  0309 1830 0001 1809 5774  it says he got it back

Bottom line he wrote my address wrong and he's telling me it's out of his hands

Dead mail?  What is that bullshit.  He needs to lay off the dumb comedy movies.  If it has a return address they would return the package.  Jobs are hard enough to come by, you gonna tell me that a postal carrier would risk his job and pension for some cigars.  Puhlease.

Is he gonna say he put his own address on the package wrong too?

OP I hope it shows up soon at his place if he is honest in the least.  I have had a few say delivered before they were so I hold out hope for ya.

That package did some traveling.    Hopefully he will make it right quickly.

I know one thing, If I am sending out a package, never mind a $500 one I cut and paste from the PM with the buyers address into the USPS label site, and check it again. If the guy fudged your address how is it not on him?

I would try and verify with USPS what the deliver to address was for that DC#, and then match that against whatever you sent to him with your address; PM, email, whatever and see if they match.  If you truly gave the guy a bad address I can see both sides then and am kinda ambivalent on who should eat the $$.  If you gave him the right address and that's not what ended up on the box, I think he needs to make it good.

That's a pretty shitty move. He wrote the address wrong and it's out of his hands?  There are times in life when you just have to step up and make things right. Clearly YOU don't have the cigars. Time to man-up and do the right thing.
