Hybrid Cars??
Just went to the Earthday celebration in town with the wife. She now wants a hybrid car to save on gas. Does anyone own one of the hybrids? what is their actual gas milage? What problems have you had with them??

Re: Hybrid Cars??
Don't own a hybrid but have a few customers that do. If you want the fuel economy they claim you have to drive like an old lady. Some of my customers are complaining that they are only getting 32-38mpg.

Drive like an old lady, that fits my wife. she drives me crazy when she drives.

Re: Hybrid Cars??
Unless there are no hills around, or you drive like the above-mentioned old lady don't expect any better mileage than you would get from a Honda Civic. Seems kinda silly to me, my Mustang makes over 300HP and I average 23+ miles per gallon.
