Great thread. About 2 months ago the guy at my local b&m offered me a "bundle" of LBMF's. He's become a good friend so I told him what has been reported here. He says his boss will vouch for them, he got them from a friend in Florida. What scares me is this guy does a pretty big internet business. Not sure if I should go accusing anyone as I'm not an Opus expert but it seems kinda strange how all of a sudden this fairly rare "bundle" is for sale so easily.

Given recent developments you really should name the business dealing in counterfeit Fuente products.

Of LBMFs?? I never seen them there! I could have just missed them.

I've never made it to the September sale so I don't know much about these.

The owner is kinda of a cooch imho so it wouldn't surprise me if he was lying.
on a side note he wants 800 for the bundle of 12.

Queen, Lets not act like you were doing me an favors. I wasn't questioning "it". Within 30 minutes of Nick calling me about the discovery at Holts, I called someone else and got further info. I was specifically told about an ongoing investigation(much longer than a couple months BTW) by the Fuentes and was asked that I not talk about it AT ALL. I respected that request. You interpreted my silence as "burring my head in the sand and pretending it didn't happen". When in fact, I was keeping my mouth shut so the Fuentes could handle it like they requested. Every time you were blabbing your mouth in the Shoutbox about it, I just shook my head saying to myself...."this guy just doesn't get it". Anyway, I'm done bringing your uninformed perceptions back to reality. It's getting old really old.

I actually think Jordan's commentary is hilarious. I like him, another good dude that brings levity to the Shoutbox. What he has to do with this I'm not sure.

Anyways, totally off track from Nicks purpose of the thread, which is unfortunate. Sorry Nick, my bad on that.

I am not on here very often, but I can say TheGiver is completely correct.  TheGiver was asked NOT to talk about this, as a case was being built.  This investigation has been going on much much much longer than this thread.

How do I go about finding out if cigars I got are fake? I'm talking at least $2000 worth of cigars between here and eBay. I haven't read through this entire post yet just noticed the name and now have a few concerns. I'm going to get to reading more now. Really would just like to know how Id go about confirming if the cigars are in fact Fake! Would really hurt to take this big of a loss but I wouldn't want to put the cigars back into The cigar communities rotation thanks.
