Re: Who bought the fakes?
I have no horse in this race
Most of the stuff he lists is a little out of my price range
But, anyone advertising here for used bands on a board like this is asking for the legitimacy of everything he ever sells to be questioned
Considering we have members here offering custom rolls in any regular production vitola HSA still make, it wouldn't be hard to buy a bunch of cheap customs and flog them off for a handsome profit
Also, anyone who takes their custom rolls and then puts regular production bands on them "for their own use" is either pretty shady or a bit of a poser IMO
Good rule of thumb is if the buyer isn't happy, offer a refund, regardless of the situation
For what its worth, I didn't notice the cigars in question come up for Trade on FoH
Not saying that's something fishy, but it is a point to consider...

To add to it he was looking for other HTF bands in the ISO threads. All very fishy.

This is a big red flag for me. Smells bad.

Re: Who bought the fakes?
Give the kid a break. He's not selling fakes. He's buying cigars with his scholarship and stipend money - didn't want to refund money he did not have.
As for the extra bands, it's pretty obvious that he wanted to show off to his friends about some one-off cigars he supposedly had made in Cuba after he went there himself a year back. After all, he has the necessary evidence such as the ashtray and other trinkets to support his claims. Now, if he's selling those Mexican customs as PL Magnum recreations, then we'd have a problem.

Smh. Plastic wrap D4's.
[/quote]Just because the outer box is shrink wrapped really doesn't mean anything... Any vendor can do that after the fact to a real box.

Re:
Then you'd hate to receive some of my boxes that I mummify with kitchen plastic wrap... Lol. I've received boxes from vendors in basically packaging/kitchen plastic wrap. So an upgraded sealed shrink wrapped box is worse? Just saying. Obviously I'm not speculating on that box, I know nothing about it
