They (DE) "season" their Liga tobacco with a "mojo", which is a fancy name for the tea of oily dark tobacco leaves soaked in water and boiled and re-filled. They apply it while the leaves are in Pilons to keep the fermentation temperature high.

Good info.  Thanks!

I don't know how I feel about it, but I don't buy DE/Swisher products anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.

I think he is running up the bid, then he was going to win so he closed it. Then he listed it again.

This moistening is so the leaves don't dry out and crumble as much as anything else. I Don't remember who or where, but some also add honey, sugar, or rum as well.

Just like the last auction, he closed it down with no bids, like the item was no longer available (or damaged).  Sounds like he is bidding his stuff up with the hopes of getting one bid after he is done playing games, but that has not happened yet... 2 auctions in a row have been closed with 0 bids.  With the scam artists and flippers there, Ebay is last place I would ever shop for htf cigars.

Both auctions had tons of bids. That .99 and 0 bids is just what Ebay shows when it is ended early. After the first auction he added verbage to the description about bidders with less than 10 feedback needed permission from him. Basically making it sound as if the winner flaked out.
I sent him a question on the first auction about the loose looking butcher paper, he responded saying to give him my phone number to ask questions! Total scam!

Why would him wanting to discuss via phone indicate a scam?
Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.

Not just the phone call thing. The whole thing just reeks of a scam. Plus when a question can be answered through a sites messaging system why request a phone number from a stranger?

Ebay can and does monitor the content of messages. If I were buying something of this value on ebay, I would really want to talk to the seller for more in depth information about it.
